Dr. Joseph L. Cooper

Dr. Joseph L. Cooper is a longtime resident of Eastern North Carolina. He earned his medical and engineering degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans before completing his training at New Hanover Regional Medical Center through the UNC/AHEC program.

Dedicated to serving underserved communities, Dr. Cooper provides weekly ultrasound services to several county health departments in the region. He is also a strong advocate for home birth and actively supports local healthcare providers in Eastern North Carolina.
